Product Manager (m/f/x)

As a Product Manager (m/f/x), you are be able to carry out all etventure projects with the support of chapter and project leads from kick-off to handover. You are the link between our customers, project management, our design team, development and of course the final users of the products.
You will fit this position if you have a healthy mix of basic technical understanding, experience and interest in product management as well as “consultant” soft skills.
We are looking for someone who likes to work “hands on”, drives the development of products with high empathy and is curious to test things.

Your responsibilities

  • Development and implementation of test scenarios to validate new product ideas & business models (e.g. via landing page tests or click dummies)
  • Building user empathy through iterative & customer-centered prototyping (Design Thinking and Lean Startup
  • Creation of a product vision and implementation prioritization in the form of user stories, epics and roadmaps in software development tools (e.g. Jira)
  • Co-responsible control of internal and external IT teams (PO role)
  • Implementation of the products according to “agile methods” (e.g. Scrum, Kanban, etc.)
  • Definition and reporting of important product KPIs in the team and to customers
  • Close cooperation with project managers, entrepreneurs, designers and marketing experts in all of the above tasks
  • Support in communication with customers

Your skills and competencies

  • You have at least 2 years of professional experience in product management or product discovery of digital products
  • Experience with common tools for creating and controlling prototypes (landing page builder, wireframing)
  • A good understanding of agile development methods and digital business models
  • Distinct combination of creativity and analytical thinking (Testing-mindset)
  • Fluent communication skills in German and English (written & oral)
  • Willingness to show intensive commitment in the team and on common project goals
  • Openness to a startup culture with high dynamics, fast processes and deadlines
  • Willingness to travel (mostly within Germany)

Step 1: Your application

Step 2: Telephone interview

If we believe you could be right for us, we will invite you to an initial short telephone interview (lasting around 30 minutes). If you also convince us over the phone that you are the ideal person for the role, we will invite you to a general face-to-face discussion meeting.

Step 3: Personal interviews

We usually run 2–3 interviews including a case presentation with colleagues from the relevant department who can assess your specialist knowledge. If these interviews also go well for both parties, we would hope to welcome you on board as a new team member in the near future.

Where are etventure's offices?

Our main offices are located centrally in the German cities of Berlin, Hamburg and Munich.

The loft-style open-plan office in Berlin has an impressive location and an even better view form one of the many rooftops (Berlin-Kreuzberg, near Kottbusser Tor).

The Hamburg office is located in the Speicherstadt district, right at the heart of this Hanseatic city, and surrounded by old warehouses. There are many well-known companies and innovative start-ups in the immediate vicinity.

The Munich office is located in the heart of the old town between the Odeonsplatz and Karlsplatz squares, with a beautiful, light and open architectural style. In summer, the roof terrace is open for lunch and after-work sessions.
